Cymbeline's brides, the wedding dress is, without a doubt, one of the most important looks in a woman's life. After all, it is with this model that she will go up to the altar, say “yes” and mark a great moment in her life.

About Cymbeline

There are more than 40 years of history of the Cymbeline brand, passing through the hands of seamstresses, pattern makers, patrons, lacemakers and much more. Cymbeline ateliers are recognized for their ability to bring creativity and beauty to dresses. Cymbeline is one of the leaders in wedding dresses in Europe and a brand of reference, in terms of the image of French excellence.

One of the most prominent brands on the bridal fashion runway is undoubtedly the French Cymbeline. The sophistication and avoir faire present in the models prove the brand's differential.

Cymbeline professionals

In his fifteen years of professional experience, Olivier Portals seeks to invest in personalized models, always betting on silk, lots of silk, organza, raw silk, muslin, satin. His models, who define white in various tones, mix ivory, cream, or play with the contrast between matte and glossy.

Inspirations range from the glamor of the Moulin Rouge, through the freshness and relaxed atmosphere of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, to the bohemian atmosphere of Montmatre, a neighborhood that attracts artists from all over the world, and even in other parts of the city that are considered responsible for the recognizable Parisian identity. The parade began showing the typical French berets, combined with pants and a model of a short wedding dress.

The first part of the show was with models holding white roses and simple, empire-cut dresses and well-crafted lace bodices, matching flower wreaths. In the first part, the lacy bodices, tulles and silk muslin gave the outfits a bohemian yet chic and modern style, matching the image of the famous Parisian district of Saint-Germain-des-Près.

Glamor followed soon after, with the tour of the Moulin Rouge, featuring feathers and head accessories straight from the 1920s. The bodices showed a sexier woman, leaning on mermaid wedding dresses with embroidered tulle and more volume skirts , thanks to the bold textures produced by means of lace.

The classic & sophisticated style also hit the mark, with princess wedding dresses, showing a more chic woman, who wore V-necks and delicate belts marking the bride's waist and more structured skirts, with more rigid fabrics and less movement. Illusion necklines were also present, with perfect finishes, and showing versatility with the textures.

Something that caught my attention was the sweetheart necklines on the back. A model that exposes this part of the body and gives a more angelic air to the dresses, finished with delicate bows for balance. The accessories presented were hats to represent the bohemian, fabric bands to give freshness and elegance to the looks and, at times, feather fascinators, a glamorous and vintage touch, exactly like Paris.
